THE Alli Source - Thin Diet Pill

Has anyone tried Xenical or Orlistat as a weight loss? Did it work?

Someone I know really wants to try this but they do not know if it is a waste of money and she would really be grateful for your answers.

  1. Xenical takes the fats out of what you eat. Makes you go to the loo.. and boy have you got to go..... like zoooooooooooooooom! If you don't eat a lot of fat like I don't.. then its not really worth taking them. I would really and truly recommend your friend go to the Docs first as she/he would need to be checked for high blood pressure and things like that before. Very important as it can raise the blood pressure. All the best. Tell your friend from me.. it won't work overnight but they will see results.. but consult the Doc first.
  2. Xenical only blocks some of the fat you consume, most people I know are on low fat diets, so it does not help them The best prescription that actually helps with controlling appetite is Meridia, but you can only take it for a limited time
  3. First these are prescription only. Second read my lips diet pills don't work! 2 in 3 dieters end up heavier. You must increase your output. Regular, vigorous exercise or stay fat. Your choice!
  4. hi i was prescribed orlistat 11 months after giving birth as i wasnt shifting my weight. i was 15st when i started on it. i took it as it said and even tho i only gave it 2 weeks i did loose about a stone (14lb i think) whilst on them. i have to advise tho they are not nice tablets to take u have to watch what you eat as if you have fatty foods while taking them u have major stomache cramps. i also like to add that what u leave in the toilet isnt very nice either its all orangey and very oily and most of the time its very runny (not that you want to know that but i want to give u as much info as i can from personal experience). my honest opinion of these tablets is they are not really worth the agro. i eventually came of the tablets and made sure i eat healthy and properly from then on (before hand used to skip meals and the odd pizza would be ordered). i try to eat 3 meals a day and i do regular exersise, well a long walk to the shops and back and sometimes to the park. just before i got pregnant again i was down to 12st (this was 3 months after being prescribed orlistat) which is the right weight for my height (just) i'm 5'10 and i have also been healthily loosing the weight whilst pregnant. if your friend wants to buy these tablets then they do work but i advise to try alternatives first.
  5. From what i know, these products are prescription only items. thus you use them if you REALLY have to. I am trying to lose some weight as well and I am using Herbalife products. I have lost about 5kgs (approx 10lbs) in about 4 weeks, and my energy levels have improved. I like it because it takes out the guess work, I don't have to count calories, there are no sins or points, and I can eat some of my favourite foods without feeling guilty. From a cost perspective, it works out cheaper than buying lunch from the high street.
  6. I was taking Xenical for a while. I lost a bit on it but not a great amount. I was prescribed it because I was already trying to lose weight but no matter what I did it wouldn't shift. It did start to get things moving but i didn't find it overly impressive. When you use it you have to stick to a really low fat diet or it'lll make you ill. It helps stop your body from absorbing fat so if you do have too much fat it'l give you diarrhoea which can come on without any warning. Try the low fat diet without the pills 1st and see how it goes.
